You hear about salmonella scares happening more and more frequently in fast food, vegetables, peanut butter... you name it. But, pet food? I was shocked to find out that several large pet food companies are having a voluntary recall of their products due to possible salmonella poisoning or other safety concerns.
The recall is including dog food, cat food, fish food, and small animal foods. I was even more shocked to see one of my usual brands of pet food on that list! Kirkland Signature Super Premium Maintenance Cat Chicken & Rice Formula! Please, check the list and see if your brand is on it.
