I just love finding unique stores on Etsy.
Recently, I came across the store Blue Daisy by Dawn. She specializes in one of a kind hand crocheted items. You can find Afghans, apparel, blankets, bedspreads, fashion scarves, and facial care. If you're looking for something special, Dawnie offers custom orders in any color, size or style at no additional charge.
Blue Daisy was started by Dawnie and her late husband, Jason, over three years ago. They started making scarves and bed spreads together for the family. Dawnie kept crocheting and ended up with a closet full! Her husband found Etsy, and here we are!
Dawnie graciously sent me one of her Fresh as a Daisy starter sets to review. The first thing I did when it arrived? Gushed over the adorable lavender discs. Really! These are very nice! They're so soft and have many uses. I use the small disc on my face with my everyday cleanser. The large disc is kept in the shower for my body. The medium one is used as a coaster when the cats haven't run off with it.
Since recieving my set of facial discs, I've stopped using my Olay facial cloths completely. These are easier on my sensitive skin and they can be reused. These are another baby step on the path of making life a little greener and lessening my carbon footprint.

All you need to do is toss the dirty one in the washer with the rest of your laundry. To help keep their shape, Dawnie recommends taking them out of the dryer before they are completely dry.
