Aromaleigh

Who doesn't love finding something in their closet that has been long forgotten? Well, while rummaging around trying to unpack, I found a box that had 9 jars of unopened Aromaleigh mineral eyeshadow! I believe these are back from when the founder of Aromaleigh, Kristen Leigh Bell closed shop back in Fall of 2010.

Aromaleigh is a cutting-edge cosmetics company at the forefront of the independent mineral makeup revolution. Their micro-formulated products are formulated with pure ingredients, innovation, over a decade of industry experience and creativity to bring you unique, quality makeup.

They are never tested on animals and are proprietary formulations, never repackaged. Aromaleigh has been in business online since 1998.

Jolie is a medium wine colored shadow with pink glitter. Goes on much lighter than the color in the pot.

Copper is a very rich hot chocolate color with lots of gold and copper glitter. My pictures don't do it justice.

Hot Stuff, a brighter coral pink. It reminds me of salmon when in the pot. Goes on very light and has a faint sparkle. Very cute and playful!

Burnt Roses, love the name! Is a medium brown with a lighter brown glitter. Goes on looking more like a foil. It really made my eyes POP!

Velvet Dream, I loved the name and the color in the pot, a very rich wine color with red/pink sparkle. Goes on easily and wears off within moments. Too bad!

Strawberry Despair is a lighter brownish red with light pink glitter. it goes on more pink with a nice bit of shimmer.

Coney Island is a lighter metallic green. It looks better when applied wet. This color reminds me a lot of something Tinkerbell would wear. Has a nice shimmer.

Torment - My favorite one! So rich, so dark, perfect for a stroll in the cemetary. Looks gorgeous when applied wet. You can't go wrong with this color.

Sabine - This shadow is packed with glitter! It is a very dark brown in the pot, but goes on in a very lovely gold. Reminds me of the gold edged paper in Bibles.

Thanks for looking! I think I was in a very red and brown phase at the time of purchase. I think it had something to do with what colors were approved for wear with my job's uniform or something. What was your favorite?

These products were purchased by me and I have in no way been sponsored by or affiliated by Aromaleigh.
I love to collect and share pretty things.

Monday mailbox haul!

What came in the mail today?

A tube of Perlier Fruit Gels Strawberry All Natural Lip Gloss made in Italy.

A bottle of the beautiful Wild at Heart holographic purple nail polish from Color Club. I can't wait to try it on! Nick had to listen to my "Ooohing and Aaahing" the entire ride home. It's such a pretty color.

And last but not least... six bottles of Enjoy Professional Hair Products! Two bottles of Shine and Smooth, one Shaping Lotion, one Straightener, one Sulfate -Free Rejuvenating Volumizing Shampoo, and one Rejuvenating Volumizing Conditioner. These were prizes from two different giveaways.

Wow!

Do you have any mail box hauls that you would like to share?

I'm constantly looking for new inspiration for make up ideas. Doing the same old thing everyday bores me. I love to mix up my look and play with color. When I came across these the first thought that popped into my head was, "I need to try this!"

I was "wow'd" by these beautiful Disney themed example of make up art. So much in fact, that I just had to share them! I love Disney movies, don't you?

The top picture is a Snow White theme complete with scary forest and poison apple. I don't think I need to tell you what the bottom them is supposed to be. I love the little Oogie Boogie! On the bottom is Aladdin. The use of color is beautiful. I wonder what brand was used? MAC?

The rest of this collection can be found at whatsupmovies.com

I received a package with Lashem Measurable Difference Lash Gel and Lashem Double Trouble  Black Mascara in the mail today. This is probably why I love doing blog giveaways. You can get all sorts of new beauty and household products you normally couldn't afford or would buy for yourself.

Lashem is dual patented, clinically tested, opthalmologist tested, paraben free, prostaglandin free, fragrance free, irritant free, and not tested on animals. I don't know about you, but growing out your eyelashes seems a little weird. But I'll give it a try!

What girl doesn't want long, thick dark lashes without having to layer on the mascara? It can take up to three weeks to start noticing a difference if applied once daily.

Lashem's dual patented lash boosting formula conditions, protects, and promotes the overall health of your eyelashes. The Measurable Difference Gel works great on short, dry and brittle eyelashes, restoring them to a healthy condition. In addition, the gel adds shine, volume and promotes growth.

I'll be trying Lashem out first thing tomorrow morning and will keep you posted on how it goes.

I won a nice set of MJ's Herbal Salves from The Organic Blonde and few weeks ago. They are very nice! I hate pills and cremes. I try not to use them if I don't have to, but my cabinet is full of them anyway. This little set of five 1oz jars is replacing a lot of the clutter in my medicine drawer. They work that well and are great multitaskers! They contain NO petroleum, parabens, fillers, chemical perfumes, "nature identical" oils, GMO's or artificial colors.

Each of these magical little jars of salve are made with the freshest, chemically free ingredients produced.
Did I mention they are certified organic? Pure beeswax, premium Grade A Shea butter, and organic olive oil go into these little jars. No pesticides or chemicals. Please remember, a little of these salves goes a long way!

Breast Balm - This special formula helps women consciously care for their breasts. it strengthens the breast tissue, activates the immune and lymphatic systems, softens scars over time, and empowers women to be involved in nurturing their bodies. This smells like tea and helps ease some of the breast pain I have from my fibrocystic breast condition when it gets massaged in. I'm going to need another jar!

Calendula Salve - Caendula is an exceptionally effective remedy for inflamed skin, slow healing wounds, dry skin, and irritations. Although calendula is strong when in action, it is gentle on the skin and ideal for baby skin care needs. Feel the healing power of these beautiful golden blossoms! I use this on the back of my cat's (Pooper) ears. He gets really dry skin and it looks itchy. So, I've been putting a little of this on the dry patches and it's looking a lot better! And he looks happier, too. I put it on Nick's Psoriasis along the hairline and it looks better, too!

First Aid Salve - This potent and powerful blend of antiseptic, antibacterial, and wound healing herbs speeds the healing and helps prevent infection in cuts, scrapes, cracked lips, blemishes, burns, and rashes. It's many uses make it a great companion for home and travel. There is something about the smell of this salve that reminds me of musty old houses. It works great on cracked lips, but I haven't gotten to use it on anything else yet. Fingers crossed!

Arnica Salve - Arnica is the most remarkable and universally accepted herb for bruises, overworked sore muscles, tendon injuries, and sprains. Arnica quickly brings relief, promotes circulation and hastens the disappearance of discoloration from bruising. Clove oil helps relieve the pain. I like the green pea soup color of this salve and the clove smell! I've used arnica before for bruises, but it's never worked like this, it must be the cloves! It's great for clumsy people like myself. Who else would accidentally give themselves a black eye? Me. This helped it a lot!

Lavender E Salve - Lavender is one of the most widely used and dearly loved flowers in skincare and aromatherapy. It is a specific for healing burns and relieving headaches, stress, and anxiety. Lavender also helps heal cuts, scrapes, rashes, irritations, and blemishes. Vitamin E aids in tissue repair and helps reduce scarring. This salve smells wonderful. I love lavender everything. It calms me and helps my constant migraines. I haven't tried rubbing it on my temples like the label suggests because things like that won't touch my headaches, sadly. But I do rub some onto my wrists and rub them together and breathe in the smell and it relaxes me when I feel an anxiety attack creeping up.
